This is it boys. The ultimate fantasy baseball league where HUGE payouts are given to the top 3. This is greater than what James and Val make in a given week and can get you a ticket next year at Levi's Stadium for a Niners game. Prize Money 1st place $360 2nd place $240 3rd place $120 Categories This is a 5X5 category league. In every category you achieve a points total from 1-12 (12 being the best) depending on where you finish. Perfect would be 120 pts if you came in first in all 10 categories. There are 5 hitting and 5 pitching categories: Hitting: Batting Average Homeruns Runs RBI Steals Pitching ERA Wins Ks Whip Saves Positions C: 1 1B: 1 2B: 1 SS: 1 3B: 1 MI 1 CI 1 OF 5 Util 2 Hitters 14 SP 3 RP 2 P 4 Pitchers 9 Bench 5 TOTAL = 28 Keeper Rules 1) 3 players may be kept on a roster. The owner does NOT need to keep players if he chooses not to. 2) The owner will sacrifice a pick in the next draft for the same round in which the player was originally selected 3)3 year total limit for a player to be retained regardless of if that player is traded to another owner 4) once drafted If a player is traded after the initial season then he will have 2 years remaining of eligibility to be retained for the new owner. Well we have a couple of possibilities. RIght now we have 8 committed owners. A few guys dropped out either because they were banned (Garce), got mad at the WZ (Rabbit) or couldnt deal with losing every year (Lifer and JRG). If we only get 10 owners only we could just a new league. If we get replacements for all the teams we can draw numbers to see who would get the first pick of available teams.

I would love to get Rabbit back and maybe he will if he knows you are back in. WIll try.

Rabbit took a vacation when webbie decided to have special forums/chats for "football only guys" or something like that. Basically a place for hof'ers beyond hof'ers to talk.

I was on the day it happened. I almost left as well. No jrg? Who will draft the cards? Lol.

As for inviting people we know. I know nobody. No one here has ever seen me, that changes this season. But for now, I'm useless as far as recruiting.

I still have serious doubt as to this league continuing. First, we lost Pete who was the commish and the money man. I am not willing to collect and pay out the money so someone trustworthy (like Rubs for example) needs to step up and do that.

Secondly, we have lost 6 people from the 12 from last year. Rabbit. Pete. Garce. Lifer, Finch and Jrg. Its going to be tough to continue the league given that. Remember, the start date last year was Feb 28th.

At this point the most likely scenario that I can see is starting a new league with 10 players. If Crzy is willing to co-commish and help start the league that would be great as he has the most experience and has always been the best at running leagues. If we had 10 players we could simply have payouts of 300-200-100 and charge 60 per player.

Either way we have 3 weeks max to figure it out.

My preference would be to start a new 10 team league. And to make it a re-draft league, not a keeper league. So that everybody starts completely the same every year. And I think it will be more fun if the best players are always up for grabs.

I'm down to commish and collect the money and organize the draft.

I think this is by far our best chance of having a league. You are the man! I think we should keep the roto rules that we had last season and start over. We simply wont get 12 guys and its kind of silly to keep a league going when exactly half the players have left.

If the owners in here know of 2 more guys let Crzy or me know. It will be a much tougher league to win as the guys who donate money each year and never win are gone. (Rabbit being the one exception).

I have tried to get Rabbit to come back but it doesnt seem like that is going to happen. That is where we are at. 4ML and Jrg cant commit for some reason so they are out as far as I am concerned. Finch is out for obvious reasons. Pete is out and I'm not sure if he even is around these parts anymore. Garce is gone and no one cares.

I have tried Stalyn, Muggs, Axe, and a couple others but no luck. So.. thats the current state of this league. Whether we are able to start something with 10 people will be determined in the next 2 weeks.
