The Rate My Team Thread

Figure we can condense all draft grade requests here. Have one of my own.

12 man league, PPR.

Two teams in two different leagues.

The first:

QB Aaron Rodgers
WR Roddy White
WR Andre Johnson
RB Arian Foster
RB Lamar Miller
TE Vernon Davis
W/R/T Steve Smith
W/R/T Chris Ivory
K Sebastian Janikowski
DEF Tampa Bay
BN Vick Ballard
BN Alshon Jeffery
BN Brian Hartline
BN Owen Daniels
BN Joe Flacco
BN Kendall Hunter

The second:

QB Colin Kaepernick
WR Brandon Marshall
WR Demaryius Thomas
RB Frank Gore
RB David Wilson
TE Vernon Davis
W/R Cecil Shorts
W/R/T Chris Ivory
K Sebastian Janikowski
DEF New England
BN Michael Floyd
BN Andy Dalton
BN Le'Veon Bell
BN LaMichael James
BN Kendall Hunter

Not planning to keep both Hunter and James, picked them both just in case James blew up and become the #2.

I think both teams are solid. You never know what can happen during the season though.

i hate all of those picks, way too early for al those players, Wheaton, Helu should probably go undrafted.
Had my draft Sunday night, it's a 10 team Standard league.

QB- Colin Kaepernick
RBs- Marshawn Lynch, Alfred Morris, David Wilson, Ryan Mathews, Le'Veon Bell, Bernard Pierce
WRs- Wes Welker, Anquan Boldin, Piere Garcon, T.Y. Hilton, Mike Williams, Cordarelle Patterson
TE- Jimmy Graham
DEF/ST- Ravens
K- Matt Prater

Overall, I'm pretty happy...my WRs are less than ideal since I waited until the 5th Round to take my first WR (Welker). But I feel like one of those guys will emerge as a number 2 option, or I can upgrade through a trade if they don't pan out.

Here is how the draft went down, i had the 7th pick
1. (7) Lynch
2. (14) Morris
3. (27) Graham
4. (34) Wilson
5. (47) Welker
6. (54) Kaepernick
7. (67) Mathews
8. (74) Boldin
9. (87) Garcon
10. (94) Hilton
11. (107) Williams
12. (114) Bell- (panic autopick, i was several beers in at this point
13. (127) Prater- ( I know, I know a K in the 13th....but last season I was burned by having inconsistent Kickers)
14. (134) Pierce
15. (147) Patterson
16. (154) Ravens D/ST

Helu made sense as a late rd pick as insurance for Morris. He was taken 3-4 rds early though. Wheaton could be a decent sleeper. I think Niner ties made you take Kaep and the Niners defense way too early. Not to mention a Kicker in rd 12!! NEVER take a kicker before the last or 2nd to last rd.

Dont like it. Sorry Spizz

Really strong RB's, QB, and TE. WR's a little weak but can lend good support to the other three positions.
Here's my team, 12 team PPR

I thought Vincent Brown went a little too high, but otherwise this is how you do it folks

QB Stafford
RB Spiller
RB Ridley
WR Jones
WR Amendola (high risk, but a no-doubt WR2 in PPR)
TE Davis
Flex Bernard
K Akers (dump him for someone else though)
DEF Patriots (you won't get them in the second-to-last round very often)

Bench: Brown, Floyd, Pierce, Vick, Patterson, Allen, Broyles.

I mean I'm not crazy about your bench at RB, but nobody is perfect.
10 team league, PPR. I had the 7th overall. It's a 2RB/2WR with a Flex (RB/WR/TE) league.

1. Spiller
2. Alfred Morris
3. Gore
4. Reggie Wayne
5. Kap
6. VD
7. Torrey Smith
8. Mike Wallace
9. Lance Moore
10. DeAngelo Williams
11. Kenbrell Thompkins
12. Alshon Jeffrey
13. Jordan Cameron
14. Joe Flacco
15. Phil Dawson
16. Ravens D

Rate my two teams:

Team 1 - 10 Team Head-to-Head, 0.5 PPR, IDP 1.5 pts for solo tackles and 0,5 for assists (LB heavy)

QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Matt Forte
WR: AJ Green
WR: Victor Cruz
TE: Greg Olsen
FLEX: Eddie Lacy
K: None on roster at the moment (trying the work a trade first that opens a roster spot)
DST: New England Patriots
IDP: Luke Kuechly
B: Montee Ball
B: Le'Veon Bell
B: Danny Woodhead
B: Jordy Nelson
B: Josh Gordon
B: Kenny Britt (contemplating a waiver claim for Crabtree)

Team 2 - 12 Team Head to Head. Standard scoring.
QB: Robert Griffin III
RB: CJ Spiller
RB: Reggie Bush
WR: AJ Green
WR: Cecil Shorts
TE: Rob Gronkowski
FLEX: Chris Johnson
K: Phil Dawson
DST: Green Bay Packers
B: Jermaine Gresham
B: Chris Ivory
B: Le'Veon Bell
B: Josh Gordon
B: Alshon Jeffrey
B: Kendal Wright
B: Joquia Bell

Not terrible. Your starting roster is pretty solid, but Stafford, Amendola, and Spiller are injury prone. That doesn't mean I don't advocate drafting them, but I really am not a fan of your depth at all except for Vick, who I think is a great buy low/sell high option. After that...

Solid first 5 rounds, that's going to put you in a very good position. While VD in round 6 is not bad value, the fact that you have Kaep and Gore as well make that a TERRIBLE decision. While I love the first three selection, two of them are very injury prone. I like the pick of DeAngelo Williams, but you don't have good RB depth at all. Definitely keep an eye on the waiver wire.

Don't ever draft a kicker before the last round again.
