Trade for Matt Kemp?

In my keeper league I have the opportunity to trade Giancarlo Stanton and Eric Hosmer for Matt Kemp. He is selling low on Kemp because he has too many guys on the DL, and doesnt want to fall behind waiting for all of them to get back. In our league Stanton is $18, Hosmer is $30, and Kemp is $32. I wont be keeper Hosmer, and hes on my bench, so its essentially Stanton for Kemp straight up. Obviously if this was a month ago I take this in a heartbeat. But with Kemp's injury issues, with the risk they might be a recurring thing this yer, and losing star production for a month+, is it worth doing for the future? Stanton is going to be a superstar, if hes not there already, so im having a really hard time letting him go, especially at that keepable price. I play H2H 10 team btw.

I don't know that's a tough one. I have Kemp on my roster and I'm worried he's not going to be that 5 stat threat with his twice pulled hamstring. I think he'll be out more than two weeks, probably a month. Personally, I'd make the trade based on future value. Hosmer could turn it on later though so it's kind of a roll of the dice.

depends on the scoring. if its a basic 5x5 I'd do the trade.

My only hang up is Kemp's hamstring. He wasnt even running before he got hurt. If he loses his steals, Stanton wont really end up much different. Just $14 cheaper and 5 years younger.

Id say yes for Hanley, no for Cargo.

Keeper league? If so I make that deal for either. Kemp is simply the best player in baseball.

No, not a keeper league. Niners99, I was thinking Han Ram as well.. I think I'm going to pull the trigger

btw, the original offer got bumped up to me giving Stanton $18, Greinke $36, and Hosmer $30 for Kemp $32 and Adrian Gonzalez $25. I would not be keeping Greinke or Hosmer, so its basically hurts me now, but helps me later. Next year the trade will basically look like Stanton for Kemp and AGon.

still mulling this one over...I wish i could find out how serious Kemp's injury is. If hes just out a month to fully heal a minor issue id be more less hesitant.
