Then, my only option is to either let Braun go, or to trade him to another guy who has a 1st round in the draft. I like it. Quentin and Yunel Escobar as only late round picks is nice. One of the reasons I made the Ethier Jurjens for Quentin and Escobar swap. Plus by drafting Adrian Gonzalez in the second round I still have my first rounder next year.

I was wondering about that. Teams that have no shot at the playoffs still need to make sure they have their best players in every game and try to win. I'm sure it was an oversight.
