Counter-trade. Jamaal Charles, Kolb for Matt Schuab, Cedric Benson.
Personally, I think Charles is a much better RB than Cedric Benson, but Benson is clearly in a better situation fantasy-wise.
Is it a PPR league? Keeper league?

I like the trade as is personally. Would drop Carlson if it went through. Only problem I would see is having a RB, QB, WR from the same squad. 1 bad week form the team could mean a bad week for you.
With all that siad, before I was to accept this trade I would try and get an upgrade at your 4th WR spot. Maybe throw in Reggie Bush and try and get his #3 or #4 WR.
I believe you are fine at QB. You have what I think will be the 2 of the 3 best QB's for the value drafted. I see Kolb being a top 10 QB with Palmer lirking outside of the top 12. With Roethlisberger being the 3rd. Getting these guys after the 7thish round is just highway robbery.

If you can get Schaub, go for it. Absolutely. Despite his injury concerns, he puts up top 5 QB numbers when healthy.
Kolb is obviously talented, but he's bound to run into some struggles this season with only two career starts under his belt. I think he'll throw for yards, but he'll also have many turnovers. Quarterbacks just don't step in and dominate unless you're a freak of nature like Aaron Rodgers.
And Carson Palmer is playing in that run-first system that the Bengals had success with last year. They're just not going to air it out, they're all about valuing possession. If the Bengals struggle early, then maybe they'll change philosophies.

ok, I proposed a counter trade... Jamaal Charles and Carson Palmer for Matt Schaub and Cedric Benson.
This way I dont get stacked with Bengals or RB's when I could use a new QB. I might be able to get Knowshon Moreno and Ahmad Bradshaw on Wednesday which I might be able to trade for another WR if Johnny Knox proves to be inconsistent.

Might be able to get Moreno? You have him listed on your team already.

If your counter trade goes through you will have a nice starting lineup. I didn't see Knox listed on your bench before my 1st comment.
