Today, San Francisco 49ers CB Jimmie Ward stated that he would be available for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His status has been said to be week-to-week and Ward has missed three games since suffering a quadriceps strain during the second quarter of the 49ers' Week 3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

That's good news for the 49ers who may be without rookie standout Rashard Robinson, who suffered a concussion during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills. He is in the league's mandatory concussion protocol this week.
Ward has been limited in practice this week. Ward informed the media that he has been working at both cornerback and nickel this week in preparation for Tampa Bay.
