Maurice Hicks signs contract

According to Sirius Radio, running back Maurice Hicks has signed his one year, $850,000 tendered contract with the 49ers.

In 2006, Hicks had 82 yards on 29 carries. He also had 13 receptions with 137 yards. His best year was in 2005 when he had 308 yards on 59 carries, an average of 5.2 yards per carry.

The drama is finally over. The San Francisco 49ers are signing wide receiver Deebo Samuel to a three-year, $71.55 million contract extension, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
