CB Dontae Johnson limps off following 49ers practice

San Francisco 49ers CB Dontae Johnson limped off the practice field following today's practice, which was open to the media.

Johnson reportedly got tangled up while played right cornerback and went down with a left knee/leg injury and needed assistance getting off of the field.

The extent of the injury is not yet known.

Before Wednesday's practice, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters. The team is preparing to face the NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys this weekend in the opening round of the playoffs. Shanahan says quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who is still dealing with a right thumb injury, will be limited in practice. However, his starting left tackle, Trent Williams (elbow), will not practice.
