49ers hire Jeff Hafley as their defensive backs coach

According to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports, the San Francisco 49ers have hired former Cleveland Browns secondary coach Jeff Hafley as their defensive backs coach.


Hafley coached two seasons in Cleveland. Prior to that, he coached the same position for two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan joined the Rich Eisen Show on Monday morning and discussed the team's interest in Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading to the draft.
