NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that, after days of deliberation, Saints head coach Sean Payton won't be leaving New Orleans.
After days of deliberation, I'm told that #Saints coach Sean Payton isn't going anywhere. He and GM Mickey Loomis agreed he's staying. Wow

The San Francisco 49ers were reportedly interested in working to acquire Payton for their head coaching vacancy.
Payton had this to say today:
Sean Payton: "This is where I plan on coaching. And I don't envision myself ever coaching for another club."

The 49ers have also been in discussions with former Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan, scheduled an interview with Buffalo Bills assistant head coach and running backs coach Anthony Lynn, and requested to interview Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson.
Per NFL Network's Albert Breer, Jackson's interview is scheduled for Sunday. The Bengals host a playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday.
Of the remaining reported candidates, who seems like the best choice for the #49ers?
