Michael Wilhoite questionable to return against Bears

In the first quarter of the San Francisco 49ers game against the Chicago Bears, LB Michael Wilhoite left the game with an injury. He is questionable to return. He appeared to be shaken up but was able to get off the field under his own power. Gerald Hodges replaced him.

Wilhoite has been nursing an ankle injury.

Now the 49ers need to find a way to not allow that to happen in 2024. While some recent Super Bowl losers haven't struggled the way the 2020 49ers did, only the 2018 New England Patriots have returned to the Super Bowl the year after losing

Mel Kiper's latest mock draft has 49ers adding pass rusher at No. 31

ESPN analyst Mel Kiper unveiled his latest mock draft, projecting the 32 selections of the first round. For the first time since 2021, the San Francisco 49ers own a first-round selection and could use the pick to bolster the offensive line or the defensive backfield. However, Kiper has the team going in another direction. He proposes adding a pass rusher to complement defensive end Nick Bosa on the opposite side.
