Before Wednesday's practice, Jordan Willis was not among the injuries head coach Kyle Shanahan mentioned. The defensive end is dealing with a knee injury, though. It wasn't from the Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears. Willis was inactive for the game. The 49ers didn't learn about the injury until Monday. Willis will undergo a "clean-up procedure," and the team placed him on its injured reserve list. #49ers DE



49ers-Seahawks Injury Report: George Kittle still sidelined from practice

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 2 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 49ers hope to get their All-Pro tight end, George Kittle, back in time for Sunday's game. Kittle suffered a groin strain last week and missed the Week 1 contest against the Chicago Bears. "He's made progress, so hopefully, we'll have better luck this week," head coach Kyle Shanahan said before practice. Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill continues to miss practices after suffering a setback with his hamstring injury last week. The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 2 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Tight end George Kittle missed his fifth consecutive practice since suffering a groin strain on September 5, decreasing his chances of playing on Sunday.
