49ers announce preseason schedule

The San Francisco 49ers have announced their 2015 preseason schedule. The team will start their exhibition games on the road in Houston to face the Texans.

The 49ers will host the Dallas Cowboys, a rare preseason matchup, and the San Diego Chargers, a preseason regular, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The team will also travel to Denver to play the Broncos.

Dates and times have not been set for non-nationally televised games, so fans will have to wait until later in the offseason to see exactly when the 49ers will face each opponent.

Week 1 - August 13-17
at Houston Texans

Week 2 - August 20-24
vs Dallas Cowboys

Week 3 - August 27-30
at Denver Broncos

Week 4 - September 3-4
vs San Diego Chargers

The San Francisco 49ers made tickets to 13 training camp practices available to fans, including an August 7 practice at Levi's Stadium which has been declared "Dwight Clark Day." Below is the upcoming practice schedule. Players are scheduled to report to Santa Clara on Tuesday. The San Francisco 49ers announced several roster moves today as the team arrived in Santa Clara for training camp. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network had reported earlier that 15 NFL players have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list as teams prepare to kick off training camps around the league. The San Francisco 49ers have officially announced the signing of tight end Jordan Matthews to a one-year deal. The news was first reported on Friday by Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
