There was a heavy amount of frustration from Cowboys fans Sunday after their team fell 23-17 to the San Francisco 49ers, as evidenced by a few of them throwing things on the field following the loss. Video from Jane Slater of the NFL Network showed fans throwing objects from the stands as the officials and Cowboys players left the field. With an impressive Sunday afternoon 27-24 win against the Los Angeles Rams, it seems like the 49ers are reaching the expectations fans had for the team before the season. Sitting at a 10-7 record with the 6th seed in the NFC, they now look to face the Dallas Cowboys next Sunday. With the 49ers being as dangerous as teams come in the NFL currently, it's hard to remember that, just prior to the season, San Francisco went through an overhaul in terms of organization on the coaching and leadership staff. The Cowboys had their best season, finishing 12-5 and making the playoffs as the third seed in the NFC with the help of a very talented roster and experienced coaching staff. 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan knows he'll have his hands full in this matchup. "I mean you can see why [the Cowboys] are in this position. I mean just offensively, defensively, special teams; I mean their numbers are you know off the charts on both sides in both phases; they've got very good talent they've got very good schemes." Shanahan has high praise for the always

By David Bonilla

Trey Lance has primarily spent his first NFL season as a student, learning the game. He's had two starts in place of an injured Jimmy Garoppolo but has spent most game days on the sideline as an observer. San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch has benefited from watching Lance in practices all season and witnessing his development. On Friday morning, Lynch joined 95.7 The Game and was asked how he would evaluate the rookie's first season. "I think it's been awesome," Lynch responded. "And a lot of people, I'm sure, are like, 'Man, this guy's crazy. What do you mean? He hasn't played that much.' But we had a plan for Trey, and I think the plan was to take it week by week. And we just wanted to see constant growth and development. "The thing
