Raiders a favorite to trade for Jim Harbaugh

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that, according to an NFL source, the Oakland Raiders are a favorite to trade for San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh. He also states that the New York Jets are keeping an eye on the situation.


Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area added that he cannot envision that Harbaugh would allow the 49ers to trade him because a trade involving draft picks would weaken his new team and help San Francisco.


Harbaugh will have one year remaining in his current deal and it is unlikely that anything will be resolved until after the season is over.

Kittle will likely sign a long-term deal sometime soon, meaning NFC West defenses will have to contend with him for the foreseeable future. The Seattle Seahawks gave up a haul for former New York Jets safety Jamal Adams. Some would criticize that they gave up too much.
