Gore hires Rosenhaus as agent; Injury updates

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore has switched agents. Gore fired David Dunn, who is reportedly facing a two-year suspension from the NFLPA, and hired agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Injury updates
RB Maurice Hicks (concussion) is listed as questionable for Week 9.
TE Vernon Davis (leg) may return to practice in a limited capacity this week but remains doubtful Week 9.

In addition to potentially losing defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan could find himself losing two trusted assistants on the offensive side too. Passing-game coordinator Mike LaFleur and run-game coordinator Mike McDaniel are expected to draw interest from potential new head coaches around the league.
This year, thanks to new league rules, Shanahan cannot block interviews with LaFleur and McDaniel, so long as they are up for promotions to coordinator jobs.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters after Friday's practice as the team prepares for its finale against the Seattle Seahawks. Here is everything he had to say.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 17 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced on Friday that linebacker Dre Greenlaw is among the players who are ruled "out" for Sunday.
"Greenlaw had a calf strain," Shanahan said. "Complained of some calf tightness after practice yesterday. We got an MRI, saw it was strained, so he couldn't go."
San Francisco will also be without rookie defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw, veteran corner K'Waun Williams, and several others.
