Today, the San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver Lance Lewis. Lewis himself broke the news on his own Twitter account.
Lewis was brought in by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of East Carolina in 2012. He was waived and then signed again prior to the 2013 season. He spend much of 2013 on the Redskins' practice squad before being activated for three games.
He was waived in December of 2013 and then signed to the Dallas Cowboys practice squad.
