Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports the San Francisco 49ers have no interest in free agent DL Lional Dalton (Chiefs).

CB Walt Harris (left hamstring strain) is listed as questionable on the team's injury report, and he will be a game-time decision this week. If Harris doesn't go, CB Sammy Davis would start in his place.

OG Larry Allen (knee) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 13, and is doubtful to play this week.

LB Derek M. Smith (hip) practiced Friday, Oct. 13, and will play this week. He is listed as probable on the team's injury report.

OT Jonas Jennings (hand) was limited in practice Friday, Oct. 13, and it is doubtful he will play this week. If Jennings doesn't start, OG Adam Snyder is expected to move over from left guard to left tackle, and OG Tony Wragge will cover left guard.
