Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area is reporting (per Ian Rapoport) that San Francisco 49ers safety Donte Whitner will get a 4-year, $28 million deal to play for the Cleveland Browns.
Donte Whitner's new deal, reports @RapSheet, expected to be 4 yrs/$28 million. Was told 49ers didn't want to go much above $4M annually.
