Eagles expected to offer Ricky Jean Francois a contract

Pro Football Central is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles will offer free agent defensive lineman, and former San Francisco 49ers player, Ricky Jean Francois a contract and that it is expected to be completed.

Jean Francois was drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the 49ers.

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell expected to play vs. Vikings

On Friday, San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell was listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. He has been recovering from surgery to repair a fractured finger and was among the team's four inactive players last weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mitchell practiced this past week in a blue no-contact jersey, with his right hand wrapped, and was limited.
