Brandon Jacobs injured against Texans

San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs was injured in the 1st quarter against the Houston Texans. Jacobs was carried off of the field and later carted away. He was hit in the leg while carrying the ball on offense. It is being reported that the injury is to his left knee. The extent of the injury is not yet known.

Jacobs was acquired as a free agent during the offseason after playing for the New York Giants last season. He has had an impressive preseason so far for the 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers have announced the signing of wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, who played college football at Arizona State, to his four-year rookie deal. The 49ers selected him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the No. 25 overall pick.
