Blake Costanzo has two offers from other teams

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee is reporting that San Francisco 49ers linebacker and special teams star Blake Costanzo has two offers on the table. Neither of those offers are from the 49ers.

It appears unlikely that Costanzo, who is a fan favorite, will return to the 49ers.

49ers climb NFL.com power rankings following draft, still sit behind two NFC West teams

Power rankings in May don't mean a lot, especially when you throw in figuring out how an unproven crop of rookies will impact a team's future success. "The NFL draft and the Power Rankings don't mix," wrote NFL.com contributor Dan Hanzus. That didn't stop him from trying. Hanzus released his latest power rankings, his first since a post-free-agency version in March, and has the San Francisco 49ers jumping up three spots to No. 9. The Niners' draft features the No. 3 overall pick, Trey Lance of North Dakota State. GM offers an interesting assessment of potential 49ers draft target Mac Jones

Much of the San Francisco 49ers-related draft discussion between now and Thursday will involve Mac Jones of Alabama. Monday's press conference with general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan has left many fans feeling that Jones is the likely pick at No. 3. While that may be disheartening for much of the fanbase, the decision ultimately comes down to what Shanahan wants for his offense. If the coach feels Jones being at the helm gives the 49ers the best chance to win future championships, that will be the pick. No amount of fan pushback will change that. Awkward. That's a word that can be used to describe the quarterback situation in San Francisco. The 49ers plan to enter the 2021 season with Jimmy Garoppolo as their starter. However, they surrendered a haul of future draft picks to move up to the No. 3 spot this year. The team selected quarterback Trey Lance of North Dakota State on Thursday night. He will eventually replace Garoppolo. Yes, that could be an awkward situation in the quarterback room. Lance doesn't see it as awkward, though. He sees it as an opportunity. Sitting behind Garoppolo for a season is an opportunity for the young quarterback to learn from a veteran who is very comfortable with the offense.
