49ers Notebook: The turning point vs. Rams; Aaron Donald MIA; McCaffrey on jawing with former Niner; Deebo's very unexpected fan encounter
Another regular season game, another win for the 49ers, who now have a streak of 12 consecutive regular season wins in a row after knocking off the Rams 30-23 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sunday. The win was also the ninth straight regular season win over the Rams, who put up a fight for much of the game before the 49ers took over late.
Things weren't going all that well in the first half for the 49ers, who were trailing 17-10 in the second quarter before a couple of key decisions from head coach Kyle Shanahan helped turn the tide. No surprise: Ticket sales forecast significant 49ers fan presence at SoFi Stadium vs. Rams
This won't surprise anyone who has watched a contest between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in recent years, but there will likely be a lot of red inside SoFi Stadium on Sunday.
According to projections from ticket reseller Vivid Seats, 64 percent of the crowd at the Rams' home venue is expected to be 49ers fans, creating a favorable road environment for the visiting team.
"Sunday's game currently ranks as one of the hottest NFL tickets for Week 2, coming in 3rd," a representative with Vivid Seats told 49ers Webzone.
Only the New York Jets at Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles games ranked higher in Week 2.

Thursday night was a fun one at Levi's Stadium, where the San Francisco 49ers cruised to a 30-12 victory over the visiting New York Giants. It was a night that saw wide receiver Deebo Samuel declare himself as officially out of "awful" mode, running back Christian McCaffrey reach milestones, wide receiver Ronnie Bell create some lasting memories, and -- of all things -- Andrew Luck making a return to an NFL field (in full Civil War costume) to take part in a game of trivia.
Let's recap all that and more in this version of 49ers Notebook.
