Add former Georgia cornerback Daylen Everette to the growing list of draft prospects who met with the San Francisco 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this week. According to James Simone, Everette met with at least five teams: the 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Carolina Panthers.

Everette (6-0, 193) spent four seasons at Georgia, developing into one of the SEC's top defensive backs. Over his collegiate career, he recorded 150 total tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, five interceptions, and 19 passes defensed, along with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, according to Sports Reference.
In 2025, Everette finished with 50 tackles, one interception, and a career-high 10 passes defensed. He also returned a fumble for a touchdown and earned first-team All-SEC honors.
The 49ers are expected to try to upgrade in the secondary this offseason after struggling against the pass in 2025. San Francisco allowed 3,951 passing yards, the eighth-most in the NFL, and recorded just six interceptions all season. Only the New York Jets had fewer, finishing with no interceptions.
