Quarterback play
Quarterback Mac Jones was efficient in his seventh start of the season, completing 19 of 24 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns. He earned a 62.3 offensive grade and a 62.1 passing grade.
Meanwhile, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart posted higher marks, earning a 75.0 offensive grade and a 70.8 passing grade, boosted by a 71.3 run grade. Dart finished 24-of-33 for 191 yards and two touchdowns.
Highest marks
Giants wide receiver Gunner Olszewski earned the game's highest overall grade with a 92.0 offensive mark, though it came on just four total snaps. For San Francisco, wide receiver Skyy Moore led the 49ers with a 91.6 offensive grade in only eight snaps.
Among players with significant playing time, Giants edge rusher Brian Burns recorded the top overall mark of the game with an 89.9 defensive grade. Right guard Dominick Puni led the 49ers' full-time contributors with an 89.4 offensive grade.
Blocking
Dominick Puni was the game's highest-graded offensive lineman (89.4). Right tackle Colton McKivitz earned the top run-blocking grade (93.0), while left tackle Trent Williams posted the best pass-blocking grade (88.5). However, McKivitz allowed a team-high three pressures and a sack.
Left guard Spencer Burford was San Francisco's lowest-graded offensive lineman (55.8), earning a 59.4 run-blocking grade and a 36.9 pass-blocking grade—both the lowest among the group. He also surrendered a sack.
In total, the 49ers' offensive line surrendered five pressures.

Among players with multiple targets, wide receiver Jauan Jennings led the group, earning a 69.1 receiving grade on five targets.
For the second time in three weeks, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson recorded the lowest receiving grade (51.8) on the team.
As a group, the 49ers' pass catchers did not register a single drop.
Rushing
Running back Brian Robinson Jr. was highly efficient in his limited opportunities, rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown on just five carries—an average of 10.6 yards per attempt. His performance earned him the game's highest run grade (84.9).
By comparison, running back Christian McCaffrey rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on 28 attempts, earning a 64.9 run grade.
Pass rush
Newly acquired defensive end Keion White earned the 49ers' best pass-rush grade (67.0), registering one pressure and a hurry. Robert Beal Jr. followed closely with a 65.5 pass-rush grade.
Defensive end Sam Okuayinonu led all players with five total pressures. Despite recording a sack, Clelin Ferrell received the lowest pass-rush grade (49.0).

Tackling
Upton Stout led all 49ers defenders with an 82.8 tackling grade, while Deommodore Lenoir recorded the lowest (27.6).
