The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly eased their resistance to trading star defensive end Trey Hendrickson, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer.
The San Francisco 49ers, a team hit hard by injuries this season, could be among those interested in acquiring Hendrickson. With star pass rusher Nick Bosa sidelined for the year due to an ACL injury, adding Hendrickson would provide a significant boost to San Francisco's defensive front.
"They (the Bengals) did say no originally, and then the last couple days a bunch of GMs said, 'Hey, you better check this out, because now they're saying yes to us,'" Glazer reported Sunday on FOX NFL Sunday. "Whether or not they can get what they're looking for, I don't know about that, but it seemed like a hard 'No' about a week or so ago, and now it's not."

The NFL trade deadline is set for Tuesday, November 4.
This season, Hendrickson has posted 16 tackles (three for loss), eight quarterback hits, four sacks, one pass defensed, and a forced fumble through seven games. He was among the Week 9 inactives as the Bengals face the Chicago Bears.
Over his nine NFL seasons, Hendrickson has compiled 81 career sacks and remains one of the league's most consistent pass-rushing threats. The veteran edge rusher racked up 17.5 sacks in each of the past two seasons.
