This past Thursday, I had the chance to soak in the electric atmosphere at Levi's Stadium for the 49ers' Draft Party. From the gold-blooded diehards to the next generation of the Faithful, there was plenty of buzz about who the 49ers would select with the 11th overall pick. While the responses varied—including a couple of interesting takes—the consensus came down to the trenches. Whether it was shoring up the offensive line to protect quarterback Brock Purdy or adding firepower to the defensive front, most 49er fans wanted someone who could make an impact in the trenches. The 49ers ultimately selected Georgia edge prospect Mykel Williams.
