Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has requested a trade, and at least one San Francisco 49ers player is disappointed by the news. Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, who has had success in limiting—and frustrating—Metcalf in recent matchups, took to social media to share his reaction.

"Y'all cannot let DK leave," Lenoir said on Instagram Live. "Y'all can't do that. Like, how am I gonna have fun out there? [WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba], he be crying all day. That's all he do, is cry ... Crybaby."

Smith-Njigba recently wrapped up his second NFL season, leading the team with 1,103 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Lenoir continued, "Back to DK, we can't let you leave, bro, unless you want to be a Niner. Unless you want to be a Niner, that's the only way. But then again, I like going against you."
The 49ers cornerback praised Metcalf's physical style of play and admitted that he relishes the challenge of competing against him.
"It low-key had me mad when I just got that text in the morning, he about to leave Seattle," Lenoir added. "That just got me. It got me hot."

Metcalf has spent six seasons with the Seahawks, the team that made him a second-round draft pick in 2019. Against the 49ers, he has registered 750 receiving yards and five touchdowns across 12 regular-season matchups.
H/t to Tim Ryan for the find.
