The San Francisco 49ers have started their 2018 training camp. Tickets went on sale for fans to go and watch them live, but what if you live far away? What if you just can't get there but still want to be part of the action? Well you can pull out your phone (or any other device), open up your favorite social media app and within seconds you can have a live look at 49ers training camp. Just like that, you're there.
In today's world in which information is so easily obtainable, we never stop to think about what it takes to make that information easy to obtain.
Vice President & Executive Producer of 49ers studios and marketing Robert Alberino Jr. was hired by the 49ers in 2013 and has worked within the NFL since 1995, when he got his start working with legendary filmmaker Steve Sabol. Alberino Jr. is the man who makes it all happen. He oversees all creative design regarding the team, stadium, social media and television content. If you are reading or watching anything from the 49ers, chances are he was behind the creation of it in some form.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down and talking with him about what goes into providing quality 49ers content that is different than the 31 other teams in the NFL and why it's so important to him and his staff that the team can reach the fans in as many ways as possible. He provided me with a lot of information that often gets thought about but never talked about. We as fans will sometimes take for granted how easy it is to feel like you're a small part of the 49ers with all of the ways to watch and connect with the team. But never do we actually think about the hard work and determination behind the scenes that makes it all possible.
Robert Alberino Jr. let me in for just a small taste of what it takes and you can listen below.
To Robert and the San Francisco 49ers, thank you for all that you do.

Let's start with a mea culpa. I got it wrong: It was, in fact, The Last Dance for that 49ers team.
You can blame many things for that completely errant prediction, but if pushed, I'd put it down to sheer belief and optimism that such a good 49ers team, that gave us all such...
