The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 2 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday's session due to a groin injury. The setback was never viewed as serious.

"It's just wear and tear," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters this week. "It's just still sore."

On KNBR Thursday, Shanahan added, "Dre was good. He went full today (but was officially listed as "limited") and had a good practice."

As Nick Wagoner of ESPN noted, cornerback Samuel Womack did not practice. He is dealing with a knee injury.

Below are Thursday's practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Rams, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff.

Defensive tackle Arik Armstead is dealing with a foot injury and did not practice. When asked if it was a similar issue to what he dealt with last season (plantar fasciitis), head coach Kyle Shanahan responded, "Not sure exactly. I know it's his foot, but not sure how similar it is." Also missing from practice were running back Jordan Mason, who is dealing with a hamstring issue, and wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud, who is recovering from a rib injury. 49ers being favored over Eagles 'doesn't make a lot of sense' to Kyle Shanahan

Sitting at 10-1, the Philadelphia Eagles own the NFL's best record. They are set to host the San Francisco 49ers in a highly anticipated NFC Championship Game rematch on Sunday in front of a rowdy Lincoln Financial Field crowd. Despite the Eagles' five-game winning streak, the 8-3 road-team 49ers are currently favored by three points. Oddsmakers might be favoring the 49ers because of how they have won games recently. Bouncing back from a challenging October, the team is now on a three-game winning streak, dominating opponents with an average margin of victory of 20.7 points. In contrast, the Eagles have secured victories with a more modest average margin of 4.8 points over their last four games, including an overtime win against the Buffalo Bills on
