Nick Bosa was officially listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice. After a six-week holdout, the defensive end had just returned to the San Francisco 49ers and had not officially signed his five-year, $170 million contract extension. Instead of going through practice with his teammates, he worked with a trainer on the side.
On Friday morning, Bosa officially put pen to paper. It's a done deal. He is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
The star pass rusher has returned to practice. The 49ers are holding their final session before boarding a plane to the East Coast for this weekend's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
