During Tuesday's practice, offensive lineman Jaylon Moore went down with a leg injury. At the time, it was too early to speculate on the severity of the injury. Of course, fans hoped it wasn't serious.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke to reporters after Thursday's practice and provided several injury updates. Moore sustained a bone bruise and is day-to-day.
"It was good news based on how he felt out there that day," head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
Moore isn't the only offensive lineman dealing with an injury. Aaron Banks is in the concussion protocol and will miss some time. Jason Poe and Nick Zakelj split the first-team reps at left guard with Banks sidelined. Jon Feliciano is working through a shoulder injury.
Lastly, running back Elijah Mitchell is dealing with an abductor strain and will be out for at least a week.
The 49ers return to the practice field on Friday at 10:25 a.m. PT.
