49ers to host pre-draft visit with UCLA OL Atonio Mafi

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the San Francisco 49ers plan to host UCLA offensive lineman Atonio Mafi on a pre-draft visit.
The player saw action in 13 games as a starter last season, finishing his collegiate career having played 56 games with the Bruins. He was named second-team All-Pac-12.
Mafi (6-4, 355), allowed three sacks, two hits, and 13 hurries through 487 pass-blocking snaps in 2022, per Pro Football Focus. His 83.2 overall grade from the analytics site was a career-high. Mafi played all 910 of his total snaps at left guard this past season. He moved between left (110 snaps) and right guard (235 snaps) in 2021.
Mafi played on the defensive side of the ball in his first two seasons (2018-19) with the Bruins, starting 14 games along the defensive line.

The Arizona Cardinals made a significant move on Friday morning, releasing star receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who had a tumultuous 2022 season, marred by a six-game PED suspension and a knee strain that caused him to miss the final games of the year.
