On Wednesday, the San Francisco 49ers listed Brock Purdy as "questionable" to play in tonight's game against the Seattle Seahawks. The rookie quarterback is dealing with oblique and rib injuries suffered in Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers—an injury he played through for most of the game.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Purdy is expected to start in the Thursday-night NFC West battle.

"I feel good," Purdy told reporters on Tuesday. "Just taking it one day at a time, getting as much treatment as I can, but overall, I feel pretty good."
The 49ers can clinch the NFC West, which would mean at least one home playoff game, with a win tonight. The team boasts the top-ranked NFL defense, a unit that has allowed only 10.7 points per game during the current six-game win streak. In addition, San Francisco has outscored opponents 80-14 in the second half during that span.
Purdy played college football at Iowa State, and the 49ers made him the last pick (No. 262 overall) in this year's draft. He has completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 461 yards, four touchdowns, two interceptions, and a passer rating of 94.2 this season.
