The San Francisco 49ers had a padded practice on Friday, following a non-padded, softer practice on Wednesday and a rest day on Thursday.

Here's a play-by-play recap of all the offensive plays from the scrimmage sessions:

1st Scrimmage Session


1. Elijah Mitchell rushes for a three-yard gain behind a good block on the play by right guard Spencer Burford.

2. Daniel Brunskill fumbles the snap.

3. Elijah Mitchell rushes on an inside-zone for a 4-yard gain.

4. Jeff Wilson Jr. rushes for a 1-2 yard gain to the right. Wilson had to cut to the outside on the play, but didn't read it soon enough.

5. Nate Sudfeld hits Brandon Aiyuk for a 10-yard gain. There was great protection on the play.

6. Trey Sermon rushes for a 4-yard gain to the inside, rushing with power on the play.

7. Brock Purdy hits a play-action pass to Josh Hokit for a 10-yard gain with Kemoko Turay in pursuit in the backfield.

8. Ty Davis-Price rushes for 0 yards on a pitch. Davis-Price tried to reach the edge, moving well on the play, but was stopped at the line of scrimmage.

9. Ty Davis-Price rushes for 1-yard on an inside run.

10. Trey Lance hits Ray-Ray McCloud on a nice route against Charvarius Ward for a 25-yard gain to the outside.

11. Elijah Mitchell rushes for 3-4 yards to the left.

12. Jeff Wilson Jr. rushes for a 2-yard gain to the right side.

13. Nate Sudfeld hits Jauan Jennings for a 30-yard gain. Ambry Thomas was playing soft coverage, with safety Dontae Johnson there on the play as well.

14. Trey Sermon rushes for 3-4 yards to the right end. Sermon was a little slow initially, trying to read the field, but still got a good gain on the play.

15. Ty Davis-Price rushes for two yards up the middle on the right side. This was his first 2nd-team carry of the day.

16. Elijah Mitchell bursts out for a 12-yard gain on an outside zone to the right side. Mitchell showcased his quickness on the play behind some great blocking.

17. Trey Lance throws a 20-yard incompletion to JaMycal Hasty with Azeez Al-Shaair tight in coverage. There was good protection on the play.

18. Trey Lance hits George Kittle in the flat for five yards, with Dre Greenlaw there immediately. Pressure was quick on the play.

19. Nate Sudfeld hits Ross Dwelley for a 20-yard gain. There was good protection on the play.

20. Nate Sudfeld hits Elijah Mitchell in the flat for 5-7 yards.

21. Nate Sudfeld hits Jauan Jennings for a 25-yard pass. There was good protection and Sudfeld fit the pass into a fairly-tight window. Jennings was able to hold on, despite a hit from safety Tarvarius Moore.

22. Brock Purdy throws an incompletion, missing Troy Fumagalli in the flat on an off-target 4-yard throw.

23. Brock Purdy hits Tay Martin for a 12-yard pass on a good route against Tariq Castro-Fields.

24. Jordan Mason rushes for 2 yards on an HB Draw, showcasing his physicality.

25. Trey Lance hits Elijah Mitchell over the middle for 7 yards with good protection. Kerry Hyder eventually got in the backfield, but Lance was easily able to get the throw off.

26. Trey Lance throws an incompletion to Malik Turner, who dropped the pass as it went right through his hands. Drake Jackson got his first reps with the first-team defense on this play.

27. Trey Lance throws a deep 45-yard incompletion to Deebo Samuel, who was tightly covered by Emmanuel Moseley. Samuel failed to separate on the play and Lance's throw was off-target and overthrown.

28. Nate Sudfeld throws a 0-yard screen to Danny Gray, as the play was immediately stopped by the charging linebacker.

29. Nate Sudfeld hits Troy Fumagalli for a 15-yard pass. George Odum was in coverage on the play. Jordan Willis beat Sam Schlueter to get in the backfield.

30. Nate Sudfeld hits Brandon Aiyuk for 20 yards. Ambry Thomas was in soft coverage, with Dontae Johnson on the play as well.

2nd Scrimmage Session


1. Elijah Mitchell breaks away for an 80-yard touchdown run between Trent Williams and Aaron Banks. Both had good blocks on the play, as well as George Kittle, who paved the way, while Mitchell just ran by the defense to the house.

2. Trey Lance rushes for 10 yards up the gut.

3. Trey Lance fakes a handoff to Deebo Samuel, who got his first rep at running back, before pitching it to George Kittle for a 0-yard gain.

4. Trey Lance finds Deebo Samuel for a 15-yard play. Talanoa Hufanga was closing in on the play, and there was good protection.

5. Nate Sudfeld hits Malik Turner for an 8-yard gain.

6. Didn't catch the play.

7. Nate Sudfeld hits Ray-Ray McCloud for a 3-yard screen.

8. Nate Sudfeld hits Tyler Kroft for a 4-yard pass.

9. Nate Sudfeld hits Ray-Ray McCloud for a 10-yard gain in tight coverage with the shifty receiver making a good catch.

10. Ty Davis-Price rushes for 5 yards on a good cutback to the middle from the left side.

11. Brock Purdy throws an incompletion to Ty Davis-Price on a screen play. Drake Jackson recorded the pass breakup at the line of scrimmage.

12. Ty Davis-Price powers through the middle for a 5-7 yard gain.

13. Brock Purdy finds KeeSean Johnson for a 4-yard gain on a pass behind the receiver.

14. Trey Lance hits Kyle Juszczyk on a 5-yard pass to the flat on a quick throw.

15. Ty Davis-Price rushes for 2 yards to the inside. He got his first 1st-team carry on the play.

16. Trey Sermon rushes for a 2-yard gain.

17. Nate Sudfeld rushes for 10 yards off a bootleg to the left side.

18. Elijah Mitchell rushes for a 1-yard gain.

19. Trey Lance hits George Kittle for a first down in the flat. Emmanuel Moseley was there first.

20. Ty Davis-Price rushes for an 8-yard gain, making a number of smooth cuts left and right to weave through the defense.

21. Jordan Mason rushes for a 2-yard gain.

22. Elijah Mitchell is tackled for loss by Kevin Givens, who breached the gap as Spencer Burford went to block in the second level.

23. Trey Lance hits George Kittle for a 12-yard pass to get the first down with pressure closing.

24. Trey Lance throws an incompletion to Jeff Wilson Jr. on a play-action pass. Lance rolled to his left, saw Jimmie Ward, set his feet quickly to the right side, but overthrew Wilson on a 5-yard pass to the flat.

25. Jeff Wilson Jr. gains 2 yards before being met by Dre Greenlaw.

26. Trey Lance hits Jeff Wilson Jr. for a 4-yard gain on third down, but is well short of the chains.

27. Ty Davis-Price rushes for a 2-yard gain. He should've cut to the left for an additional gain on the play, but saw the read too late.

28. Nate Sudfeld hits Austin Mack for 13 yards off a fake handoff.

29. Nate Sudfeld's pass is batted at the line by Charles Omenihu. There was good protection on the play.

30. Trey Sermon rushes to the right for a 2-yard gain.

31. Nate Sudfeld hits Austin Mack for a 5-yard slant with coverage being close on the play.

32. Nate Sudfeld attempts a deep 40-yard pass to Ray-Ray McCloud, but is off-target. McCloud was covered closely by Tariq Castro-Fields on the play.

33. Jordan Mason rushes for 4-5 yards to the right side.

34. Brock Purdy hits Troy Fumagalli for a 5-yard gain.

35. Brock Purdy is picked off by Segun Olubi on a pass intended for Tanner Hudson. Hudson caught the pass behind him, but Olubi ripped it from Hudson's hands for the pick. Kemoko Turay beat Alfredo Gutierrez on the play for a pressure.

Brock Purdy hopes to organize throwing session ahead of 49ers training camp

The San Francisco 49ers will hold a mandatory minicamp from June 4 through 6, officially concluding the team's offseason program. After that, the Niners will break for over a month and return to the Santa Clara facilities for training camp in late July. Between that time, starting quarterbacks will often organize throwing sessions with their receivers in an effort to build chemistry ahead of the rigors of training camp. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been unable to participate in such sessions over the last two years. The last overall draft pick in 2022, Purdy had yet to make a name for himself during his first offseason. Last year, he was still recovering from offseason surgery on his throwing arm. RELATED:

49ers sign WR Trent Taylor, reuniting with former draft pick

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech. Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team. Draft Watch: Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley visiting 49ers on Wednesday

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday. Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.
