Javon Kinlaw is on a mission to be ready for the 2022 season. The San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle appeared in just four games last season before being shut down and undergoing reconstructive surgery to repair his ACL.
OurSF49ers shared the following video of Kinlaw running at the 49ers' facilities in Santa Clara, where the defensive lineman continues to rehabilitate.
"I'm feeling amazing," Kinlaw recently told Brad Graham of TheSFNiners. "Really, honest, I've had nothing but ups, no downs. Knock on wood. Everything has been progressing the right way. As far as from a health standpoint, I already feel healthier than I was last year when I was on the field, so I'm just excited to really get back out there and just be able to really showcase what a healthy Javon Kinlaw can do for this organization."
Kinlaw admitted that he now has more knee and hip flexibility than he's ever experienced in his life.
The 49ers made Kinlaw (6-5, 319) the No. 14 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He registered eight tackles through his four game appearances last season.
