The San Francisco 49ers have signed the following seven players to reserve/future contracts, per the NFL transaction wire.

  • OL Alfredo Gutierrez
  • FB Josh Hokit
  • TE Tanner Hudson
  • WR Austin Mack
  • LB Curtis Robinson
  • DT Chris Slayton
  • WR Connor Wedington

Reserve/future contracts are used to claim the rights to players. They take effect at the start of the new league year on March 16, and that's when the players begin counting against the salary cap.
