The San Francisco 49ers announced the following roster moves ahead of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
- WR River Cracraft and CB Saivion Smith promoted from the practice squad to the active roster
- RB Brian Hill and S Jarrod Wilson activated from the practice squad
- RB Trenton Cannon and CB Emmanuel Moseley placed on injured reserve
Cannon and Moseley sustained their injuries during Week 13's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Cannon suffered a concussion on the opening kickoff return, while Moseley is dealing with a high-ankle sprain.
The 49ers also announced that cornerback
Dontae Johnson has been downgraded from "questionable" to "out." That means one of the two rookie cornerbacks—
Deommodore Lenoir or
Ambry Thomas—will likely start opposite Josh Norman.
San Francisco enters Week 14 with a 6-6 record, while Cincinnati is 7-5. Kickoff between the two teams is scheduled for 1:25 p.m. PT from Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. The 49ers are currently a 1.5-point favorite.
The two teams will announce their inactive players 90 minutes ahead of kickoff.
The NFL fined 49ers defensive end Arden Key $15,450 for roughing the passer on his hit of Seattle Seahawks quarterback
Russell Wilson in Week 13, per The Athletic.
Seahawks defensive end Darrell Taylor was not fined for his hit to 49ers running back
Elijah Mitchell's head, which resulted in a concussion. Mitchell remains in the concussion protocol, and San Francisco ruled him out for this weekend's game against the Bengals.

49ers announce jersey numbers of entire draft class, including No. 74
Last week, we found out what numbers many of the San Francisco 49ers rookies would be wearing during the team's three-day rookie minicamp. Those numbers will be sticking around through at least the rest of the offseason program. Obviously, they are subject to change after roster cuts ahead of Week 1.
Matt Barrows of The Athletic tweeted out several rookie jersey numbers, including select undrafted free agents. Missing from his tweet, however, was the number of the 49ers' fifth-round draft pick, cornerback Samuel Womack. The team announced that he will wear No. 26, last worn by cornerback Josh Norman.

2022 Schedule Tracker: 49ers open at Bears, host Seahawks Week 2
The NFL will unveil the league's complete 272-game 2022 schedule on Thursday night at 5:00 p.m. PT. It is common for select week-to-week opponent matchups to leak before the official announcement. I've created this tracker to collect those leaks as the official schedule release time approaches.
As usual, the San Francisco 49ers will meet each NFC West team twice. On May 4, the NFL revealed that the 49ers will travel to Mexico City on November 21 to face the Arizona Cardinals at Estadio Azteca—a Week 11 primetime matchup on ESPN's Monday Night Football.
The 49ers will face the third-place teams in the NFC East, NFC North, and AFC East. The team is also slated to play the entire NFC South and AFC West.

Cowherd: It's time for the 49ers to go 'all in' with Trey Lance
On Thursday, FanSided national reporter Matt Lombardo tweeted out that the San Francisco 49ers are "continually underwhelmed" by Trey Lance. While most quickly dismissed the report, given the team's consistent praise of the second-year quarterback, Colin Cowherd offered a reaction on his FS1 show. The longtime host believes it's time for the 49ers to answer their doubters and go "all in" on their young quarterback.
