In his second stint with the team, San Francisco signed Hall to its practice squad on December 16, 2020. The team signed him to a reserve/future contract on January 4.
The Carolina Panthers made Hall (6-5, 265) a third-round selection out of Texas A&M in 2017. He also spent time with the Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Jets. The defender spent time on the 49ers practice squad in 2018.
Hall, 26, has recorded nine tackles and 1.5 sacks through his three NFL seasons. He did not play in 2020.
