Peter Schrager of NFL Network was the first to report that the San Francisco 49ers were re-signing safety Jaquiski Tartt to a one-year deal.
Safety Jaquiski Tartt is returning to the 49ers on a 1 year deal, per sources.
In addition to Trent Williams (acquired in 2020), San Francisco is bringing back several of their top free agents, looking to get back to where team was in 2019. @nflnetwork @gmfb

The 49ers announced the move soon after Schrager's report, making it official.
"We are very excited to have Jaquiski back with our team," said general manager John Lynch via a statement issued by the team. "Jaquiski is an extremely skilled and versatile player who provides excellent communication skills for our defense. Welcome back Quiski!"
The news comes after a report that the team is signing veteran free-agent safety Tavon Wilson to a one-year deal. Many assumed this pointed to an end to Tartt's time in San Francisco. That obviously is not the case.
The 49ers made Tartt a second-round selection out of Samford in 2015. He recorded 30 tackles, one tackle for a loss, an interception, and four passes defended through seven games in 2020 before landing on injured reserve on November 11 due to turf toe.
Tartt, 29, has 301 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, four interceptions, four sacks, and 17 passes defensed during his six NFL seasons.
