Tom Brady has now appeared in 10 Super Bowls and won seven of them. The future Hall of Famer's latest came on Sunday as his Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the Kansas City Chiefs by a score of 31-9.

Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jerry Rice joined 95.7 The Game on Monday morning and discussed the Super Bowl LV blowout. With Brady now personally owning more championships than any single team in the NFL, is it time for Rice to acknowledge that Brady is the GOAT — the greatest of all-time?

Rice responded by saying he doesn't have seven Super Bowl rings but played in a more difficult era in which offensive players weren't as protected as they are today.

"When you have seven rings, you're doing something right," Rice acknowledged on The Morning Roast. "I think with Brady, he still wants to play. He said something about playing until he's 45. I think he could do it now in this league because players are so much more protected.

"So, yeah, he can have that GOAT status. I never wanted that status anyhow. I just played the game for the love of the game, and I wanted to win for San Francisco, the great fans that we have, and also the organization, Bill Walsh, and my teammates, and all that."

In 20 seasons, Rice accumulated 1,549 receptions for 22,895 yards with 197 receiving touchdowns, each of which is an NFL record. He owns a lot more records than that, too. Rice pointed back to the statement made by Randy Moss, who this past season declared himself to be the best receiver of all-time.

"He can be the GOAT," Rice said of Moss. "Terrell (Owens) can be the GOAT. I don't care about that. My thing was all about the just winning Super Bowls."
