The safety returned on Thursday night after being inactive for the previous two games due to a groin injury. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Tartt is believed to have suffered a turf toe injury during the 49ers' 34-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Tartt finished Thursday's game with seven tackles and a pass defense. He has 30 tackles, an interception, and four passes defensed through seven starts this season.
