49ers practice and media schedule leading to Week 8 matchup vs. Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers will hold three full practices this week as the team prepares for its Week 8 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan, defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, and various players are scheduled to speak with the media.

The 49ers will make the press conferences available at 49ers.com, on the team's official mobile app, and its official YouTube Page.

Below is the schedule, which is subject to change, for the upcoming week. All times are Pacific.

Wednesday, October 28
12:25 p.m. - Kyle Shanahan, LB Fred Warner, and others press conference
1:25 p.m. - Practice

Thursday, October 29
12:15 p.m. - Practice
After practice (approx. 2:00 p.m.) - Robert Saleh, QB Jimmy Garoppolo, TE George Kittle, and others press conference

Friday, October 30
12:05 p.m. - Practice

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes leads the fan portion of Pro Bowl voting. He's followed by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. That probably won't come as a surprise to many. What might be surprising is that just one San Francisco 49ers player is among those leading by position. That would be fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who is obviously deserving. But what about the others? 49ers spending a league-leading $86 million on players on injured reserve

The San Francisco 49ers own one of the most injury-ravaged rosters in the NFL. That won't come as a surprise to most of the team's fans. The Niners currently have 18 players on injured reserve, which tops the league. According to Spotrac.com, the 49ers have a league-leading $86.1 million worth of salary cap space tied up by players sitting on injured reserve. That is nearly 43 percent of the team's salary-cap space. Which NFL team sits at No. 2 on the list?
