Veteran OL Jamon Brown will work out for 49ers on Friday, per report

Former St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants, and Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Jamon Brown will work out for the San Francisco 49ers on Friday, according to a report from Vaughn McClure of ESPN.
The Rams made Brown a third-round pick out of Louisville in 2015. He has appeared in 60 games, starting 47, in his five NFL seasons.
Brown joined the Giants in 2018 and then signed a three-year, $18.75 million deal with the Falcons in 2019.
The offensive lineman missed part of training camp while in the concussion protocol before Atlanta released him on Monday. He started nine games at guard last season.

We're just over 24 hours before round one of the NFL Draft begins. The San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to have their first pick in the opening round since 2021 when they drafted Trey Lance. GM John Lynch spoke on Monday and said there's a possibility the team could trade out of the first round. I doubt that would go over well with the fanbase, especially since they haven't had a first-rounder in the past two years. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is in high spirits, and it's no wonder why. He's well aware that his bank account is about to get a significant boost, one way or another.

The Detroit Lions recently inked their star wideout, Amon-Ra St. Brown, to a lucrative four-year, $120 million contract extension. 49ers sign WR Trent Taylor, reuniting with former draft pick
The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team.
