Congratulations to San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead on his wedding in Santa Barbara over the weekend. Nickel Agency, a sports management and marketing company, posted the following photo of the happy couple.

San Francisco signed Armstead in March to a five-year deal worth up to $85 million, keeping the former No. 17 overall pick with the team for the foreseeable future.

Armstead registered 54 combined tackles, two passes defensed, and two forced fumbles to go along with a career-high and team-leading 10 sacks in 2019. He reached opposing quarterbacks twice more during postseason play.

Armstead has recorded 152 combined tackles, 19 sacks, three passes defensed, and three forced fumbles through his five NFL seasons.

Writer Jeremy Fowler conducted an extensive poll involving 50 league executives, coaches, scouts, and players. "Voters gave their best 10 to 15 players at a position," explains Fowler, "then we compiled the results and ranked candidates based on number of top-10 votes, composite average, interviews, and research. We had several ties, so we broke them by isolating the
