No gym? No problem? 49ers TE Ross Dwelley shows off his custom workout routine

Mar 26, 2020 at 4:21 PM--

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk showed off his offseason workout routine in the snow this week. The coronavirus pandemic hasn't stopped cornerback Richard Sherman from staying in football shape.

Players are unable to make use of team facilities, so everyone has been getting creative while trying to observe social distancing.

Ross Dwelley is doing the same.

The 49ers tight end showed off some of his custom workout techniques via Instagram, as shown below by our friends over at @TheSFNiners.

Dwelley 25, was among five 49ers exclusive-rights free agents tendered one-year contracts on March 5. The team announced this week that the tight end signed the contract, assuring his return for the 2020 season.

Dwelley is entering his third NFL season. The 49ers signed the tight end as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego in 2018. He registered 15 receptions for 91 yards with two touchdowns through 16 games and six starts with the 49ers in 2019.

Dwelley has caught 17 passes for 105 yards with two touchdowns in his two NFL seasons.

The next inductee into the Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame sat down with Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area for the latest episode of the 49ers Insider Podcast. Young wore No. 97 during his time with San Francisco, the only team he played for during his 14-year career. Another player wears that number now — defensive end Nick Bosa. What does Young, who spent some time coaching through the college and pro ranks after his NFL career, think about the talented second-year player? "Nick does a good job just in terms of one, being a very knowledgable player," Young told Maiocco. "He sees the game. You can tell he's been surrounded by good coaching. And then just his family history. His dad played, his brother played, and so

Nick Bosa has the potential to be a force along the San Francisco 49ers defensive line for years to come. The young pass rusher was as good as advertised during his first NFL season, a campaign that earned him NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. The 49ers' all-time sack leader, Bryant Young, loves what he sees in Bosa. Young joined KNBR on Thursday to discuss his impending induction into the 49ers Hall of Fame and offered up a scouting report of the second-year defender. "I think his ceiling is very high, just coming in," Young told Greg Papa and John Lund. "And the way he played and carried himself on the edge; great use of hands, good knee bend, he understands angles, very balanced, and he has really good leverage and uses his strength

Here's why 49ers linebacker Fred Warner always has a football in his hands

By David Bonilla
Jun 26, 2020

Fred Warner was among several players who spoke during this week's State of the Franchise event. Greg Papa, who serves as the radio voice for the team, was curious about something. Papa noticed that the linebacker is always walking around the facility, whether he's heading to a meeting or elsewhere, with a football in his grasp. Why is that? Of course, that's when Warner and the rest of the players are there at the facility. They haven't been able to enter the building this offseason due to precautions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Papa joked that the State of the Franchise discussion may have been the first time he's seen Warner without that football. "I give all the credit to Kwon (Alexander)," Warner explained. "He's the one who started that.
