Self-quarantine hasn't stopped San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk from preparing himself for the upcoming season. With NFL teams' offseason programs up in the air right now and no access to team facilities, players are doing whatever they can to stay in shape.
It looks like Juszczyk has taken a page out of Rocky IV. His wife, Kristin, showed off videos of his workout routine — much of it taking place in the snow — and it would make Rocky Balboa proud. The caption read, "When the gyms are closed but Kyle still needs go workout!"

Juszczyk, 28, is entering his fourth season with the 49ers and his eighth in the NFL. He was among the first group of free-agent signings by head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch in 2017.
Juszczyk went on to
post the videos on his own Instagram with the comment, "Watched a lot of Rocky IV growing up."
The 2013 fourth-round draft pick out of Harvard by the Baltimore Ravens has proven to be among the league's best fullbacks and run-blockers, and has been a critical reason for the 49ers' successful rushing attack.

The San Francisco 49ers have been holding player-organized throwing sessions at the Brentwood Academy, which is just outside Nashville, Tennessee. The team moved locations from San Jose State to allow more player participation.
One of those players was wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who had been training in Houston, Texas, before this week. He suffered a Jones fracture in his left foot on Tuesday. NFL insider Ian Rapoport estimated 12 to 16 weeks of recovery time, but Samuel says it will be closer to 10.

A bearded Kyle Shanahan spoke with the voice of the San Francisco 49ers, Greg Papa, during the team's virtual State of the Franchise event this week. The head coach discussed the positives and negatives of a strange offseason, which has been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As far as the teaching aspect of the offseason goes, Shanahan is proud of what his team has been able to accomplish.
