The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 17 contest against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington.

The significant news coming out of Thursday's practice was that defensive lineman Jullian Taylor suffered a knee injury. Head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed on Friday that Taylor suffered a torn ACL and will be placed on injured reserve. The team will promote defensive lineman Kevin Givens from the practice squad to take Taylor's roster spot.

Defensive end Dee Ford (quadricep, hamstring) continues to miss practice and has been ruled out for Sunday.

Safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) and wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) remained in blue no-contact jerseys on Friday but have practiced all week. Samuel is expected to play on Sunday, and the receiver did not appear on Friday's team-issued injury report.

"There's concern on all these guys," Shanahan told reporters on Friday. "Everyone's got some wear and tear, but he'll be alright for the game. He'll be able to play for it, so he's not questionable at all in that way."

Tartt, however, is listed as "doubtful" for Sunday.

"He's gotten out there a little bit; some more than he has been, which does give him a chance, whatever that word means," Shanahan said. "It means it's more of an outside chance."

If Tartt cannot play, Marcell Harris will get another start in his place. Tartt has been inactive for the last three games.

Guard Mike Person (neck) is the only 49ers player listed as "questionable."

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Seahawks, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
