Usually, you hear about the Miami Dolphins sending players away. The team made a move before Tuesday's trade deadline and acquired Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib and a fifth-round pick in exchange for an undisclosed future pick, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

It is worth noting that Talib is on injured reserve, so it is not known what the Dolphins plan to do with the cornerback. Talib will become a free agent after this season.
Earlier this month, following a Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Rams traded cornerback Marcus Peters to the Baltimore Ravens before trading for former Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
Rams now can try to use some of the salary they save from Aqib Talib on trying to re-sign Jalen Ramsey.

The 49ers and Rams will face each other again — this time at Levi's Stadium — during Week 16.
