The folks at NFL Network took on the task of ranking all NFL quarterbacks from 1-32. When their pencils stopped and the eraser shavings stopped falling they ended up with Aaron Rodgers as the number one quarterback in the NFL. Where did Colin Kaepernick rank? He finished ranked just outside the top ten at number 11, one spot behind Cam Newton.
Here's what they had to say about Newton, "Newton made important strides toward mastering the nuances of the position such as pre-snap recognition, going through his progressions and remaining poised in key situations. His accuracy still comes and goes due to shoddy footwork."
With regards to Colin Kaepernick, "Kaepernick struggles in the same areas in which Newton improved last season. He's inaccurate under pressure and doesn't go through his reads. In his defense, he spent the majority of the season staring down wide receivers failing to get open. That will change with Stevie Johnson and a healthy Michael Crabtree, joining Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin."
Do you agree with this ranking? If not, how would you rank them?
